One of the premium phones selling well nowadays is the Samsung Galaxy S Series. From the word go, these phones get a good share of the market and Samsung was able to keep up to its customers’ expectations. Next in line is the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Korean manufacturers refrained from announcing this phone on the mega mobile device event conducted every year in Barcelona, ’The Mobile World Congress’. The reason for this must be that Samsung wanted to launch its latest addition to the premium collection possibly in a standalone event – as by doing this, the Galaxy S4 will have all the attention. We can expect this event to be a grand event too.
They have announced to hold this event on the 14th of March 2013. There are a lot of speculations on what will be included in this new smart phone. Early speculations included features like laser keyboard, flexible display with 13 MP camera. On nearing the Launch Event, we now believe that we can do a reasonable guess on what to expect from Galaxy S4.
One of its predecessors, the Galaxy S 2, which was launched two years ago, is still available on the market for £14.88 a month with 300 minutes, unlimited text and 250 Data. The other predecessor available is the Galaxy S3 is available from £19.79 onwards.
Samsung Galaxy S 4 is expected to have Exynos 5 OCTA : 8 CPU which has 8 cores. The advantage is that it will be responsive and powerful and will be less power thirsty. Samsung expects it to be 70% more energy saving without sacrificing performance.
The display is said to have Super AMOLED Full HD Capacitive touch screen. It is a 5” wide screen and has a resolution of 1920 * 1080 pixels for brilliant display which is of a 441 ppi resolution quality. The phone is capable of capturing Full HD images through its 13 Mega Pixel camera. The camera is accompanied with LED flash for low light shooting and a video recording ability in HD mod as well.
To confirm these speculations, we will have to wait until the 14th of this month. But sometimes, even waiting is fun.
