Nokia has announced a new variant for X6. The new phone named Nokia X6 16 GB differs from the Nokia X6 Comes with music phone in the memory capacity and the "comes with music subscription". Its predecessor has 32GB memory. The Nokia X6 16GB will be available in all black, all white, Pink on White and Yellow on White. The Nokia X6 16GB will come with the new Ovi Maps with free voice-guided drive and walk navigation and Michelin and Lonely Planet guides.

Sony Ericsson has announced their second full touch screen handset powered by Symbian OS. The Kurara is renamed as Vivaz. As expected the Vivaz is powered with Symbian S6 platform and the 3.2’’ touch screen supports a resolution of 640x360 pixels. The camera is 8MP autofocus with video recording @ 720p.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10
Sony Ericsson’s first Android phone, the XPERIA X10 is expected to be available in UK market by the middle of next month. With highly customised UI, running on a 4" capacitive touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution this phone will be a good upgrade from XPERIA X2. Priced around 500-550 this phone is targeting the techie guys who love to use smartphones.
Vodafone is set to launch Apple iPhone on 14th of January. The 16GB 3GS iPhone is available for free on 45 pounds monthly on a two-year contract. Vodafone has announced a reward for those who pre-order. All those who pre-order it will receive free Vodafone to Vodafone calls for as long as the contract goes.
Nokia announced a new comes with music phone. Nokia 5235 Comes with Music. This phone is almost identical to Nokia 5230 when comparing features.
Nokia 5235 Comes with Music has a 3.2 inch resistive touch screen. The screen has 360x60 pixel resolution. The camera is 2MP. The video record is at 30 frames per second, which is extra ordinary for 2MP camera.
The phone measures 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm, has a volume of 83 cc and weighs about 115 g.
Samsung M5650 Lindy
As a successor to Samsung Corby, the new Samsung M5650 Lindy is an inexpensive touch screen phone. When compared to Corby Samsung M5650 Lindy has WiFi and 3G to boast its connectivity. Another major change is its camera. As you would imagine, being a 3G phone, it is having a secondary camera too. Apart from that, the main camera is 3.15 MP camera with auto focus. Its internal memory is 50MB. And can be extended to another 8GB with microSD card. Lindy even got a dedicated music key and has a inbuilt FM radio receiver. We can expect this phone to be available on the market with a similar price tag to that of Corby.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2
According to Vodafone Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is expected to launch next month. This phone was expected to be available for Christmas. Sony Ericsson fans will have to wait longer to buy this phone. This will be disappointment for anyone hopping to buy XPERIA X2 this festival season.
Some leaked reports suggests that Sony Ericsson is coming up with an HD recording phone. They have named it as Kurara. Kurara is powered with Symbian S60 5th edition, same as Satio. Kurara again like Satio does have an 8 MP camera. But unlike Satio, the HD marked on its back suggest that the video recording is in HD. So we can expect it to have 720p recording.
Nokia N900
Nokia’s latest addition to N-series, the N900, started shipping in Europe and US. Powered with Maemo 5 OS, it is a multitasking phone. The primary camera is 5MP with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual LED flash and video light. It also boasts of Skype and GoogleTalk VoIP integration built into the phone. It has a memory of 32 GB internal and can be extended with additional 16GB using microSD card.
The phone is expected to be available very soon in UK market.
Nokia E72
Nokia’s latest business phone, the E72 is started shipping. So you don’t have to wait too long before you see this phone in shops near by.
The powerful Nokia E72 have full qwerty keyboard, 5 MP camera and GPS receiver are some of the features to mention. Powered with Symbian OS this phone will be available in two colours, Black and Silver.
From today, Apple iPhone will be available not only in O2 network, But also in orange network too. Two years ago, Apple, the producer of iPhone entered in an agreement with O2 for exclusive sale of iPhone through O2. After the completion of the contract period, now iPhone is available on Orange network as well.

Vodafone is also about to market the iPhone but only after this Christmas. The iPhone will be available through Orange retail stores across UK and Orange websites. The Carphonewarehouse and Phones4u will also be selling iPhone in orange network.
The three store is continuing its discounted mix and match 500 deals to cost less on selected phones. There is a reduction of 25% discount on these deals. That means monthly cost will be £13.50 instead of normal £18. These deals have been extended to 30th of November.
LG GD510 Pop
LG followed Samsung in announcing greener phone. LG GD510 Pop is the new green phone from LG. According to LG the phone is eco friendly from the ground up. The packaging is made of recycled paper, printer using soy inc. The battery charger cuts of power when the battery is fully charged. The phone informs the user to switch off the power when fully charged.
As with the Samsung Blue Earth, LG GD510 Pop also has some CO2 applications. It allows to calculate the amount of CO2 you less emitted just by finding an alternative to car. The phone also has an optional solar power charger.
iPhone is entering to another phase in UK market. For the last two years iPhone was marketed exclusively by O2. Now it is about to change. Orange and Vodafone announced recently that they have entered in contract with Apple to sell iPhone through their network. November 10th is expected to be the date Orange will officially launch iPhone. Vodafone is expected to have iPhone deals too. But their launch dates are not known yet.
Some rumours now claims that previously suggested XPERIA X3, which is code named as Rachael won’t be called X3, instead it will be called as XPERIA X10. Its release dates are expected as early as 2010 February.
There are some unconfirmed reports that the phone will be officially announced in November 2009.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 is not official yet. But the leaked documents show that finally Sony Ericsson is powering its next Xperia with Android. On the connectivity side, it is expected to have HSDPA, Wi-Fi and an integrated GPS receiver. The screen is expected to be a 852 x 480 pixels, 4.0 inches, 16M colour capacitive touchscreen. Memory can be upgraded to 16 GB using microSdCard.
BlackBerry Bold2 9700
BlackBerry Bold 9700 or BlackBerry Bold2 is official now. According to T-Mobile Germany it will be available in November 2009. Bold 2 boast of all round connectivity. As you would expect it runs on BlackBerry OS 5.
Samsung has announced the release of a new Star. The original Samsung star gets wi-fi. And rightfully called Samsung star WiFi. Every thing including the size and weight is the same as that of its predecessor.
This phone is already available in the market through channels like eBay. The "Star with Wi-Fi" will hit the markets in Africa and Asia as well but under a slightly different model number - the Samsung S5233W.
