  • The Blackberry Torch 9800 is built to provide competition to the touch screen technology based phones; the software has been improved to be more touch friendly but its visual isn't all that what one expects in a touch phone. The essential QWERTY keyboard underneath which is revealed when the slider moves up seems to be a little narrower than it should have been. BlackBerry Torch 9800 uses an updated version of the Blackberry operating system 6. The OS is afresh change that promotes blackberry's functionality, the wide vertical screen which is swappable allows different icons to be customized, moved from one screen to the other etc, but not all though.

Blackberry Torch 9800 looks quite like its predecessors Bold and Storm and makes good for the business class people. The web browser is a good improvement than its previous versions, the rendering of the web pages are more accurate and earn some accolades. The striking feature of Blackberry Torch 9800 is its ease with sending e-mails, but for that a blackberry contract is required. This feature means that users can send messages straight away without having to check and wait for the server. No wonder Blackberry scores high amongst business personnel. Blackberry Torch 9800 offers the best 802.11n Wi-Fi and of course how can it be complete without 3g connectivity.

The memory also satisfies, 512 of built in memory, alongside a 4 GB micro SD memory card which supplemented with 32GB. BlackBerry torch 9800 really brings out all its panache when it comes to increased battery life. It gives you a whopping 5.5 hours of talk time and 18 days on standby. The most essential is that you can hear the voice of your caller with clarity even in noisy surroundings which most state-of-the-art phones forget to provide. Here the bulky stature of Blackberry Torch 9800 comes in handy that actually give you the feel that it's a phone, not some geeky toy.
