  • Sony Ericsson has been producing state of the art mobile phone over the years. They have been coming up with new technologies that took the mobile phone world by storm. One of the features that has made the name Sony Ericsson is the ability of the mobile phone manufacturer incorporate a 2.0 megapixel camera in their famous K750i model which was a big hit. It was the first mobile phone manufacturer to incorporate such a camera in a phone. It took a long time for other mobile phone manufacturers to reach that standard.

Sony Ericsson has been working on developing mobile phone devices that will run the Android software but the range of phones that have been doing well over the years and are still doing well are the Walkman branded ones. Just recently, Sony Ericsson released the latest device in the Walkman range which is known as the Sony Ericsson Yendo. The first impression that the Sony Ericsson Yendo gives when one looks at it for the first time is that its an Android device. The Sony Ericsson Yendo is not an Android device. It gives this impression because its stand by screen offer four shortcuts in every corner which is a feature that the Android devices posses. This feature can be found in two Sony Ericsson phones which are the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro and the Xperia X10 Mini.

The Sony Ericsson Yendo is a compact handset that weighs about 81g and measures 93.5*52*15.5 mm. The mobile phone device has a TFT resistive touchscreen which means the phone has no buttons and you can operate it using a stylus or even your fingers. The Screen itself measures about 2.6 inches, supports over 256,000 colors and has a QVGA resolution. The internal memory of the Sony Ericsson Yendo is very small but luckily, this can easily be increased with the use of a Micro SD memory card. This mobile phone device can be able to support up to 16GB expandable memory which is quite big and can store numerous things from MP3 tracks to videos and pictures. The device is very stylish but it does not WiFi or is it a 3G handset and therefore there is no high speed Internet browsing on this phone.

All the data transfers take place via GPRS or EDGE and included is a 2.1 Bluetooth device which can be used to transfer data and information in close ranges. There is an inclusion of a A2DP device which enables one to stream stereo audio to a Bluetooth headset device. The device also has a 3.5 mm audio jack that you can plug a wired headset in and listen to music with if you do not have a Bkuetooth headset device. Being a Walkman device, music is the main focus of the Sony Ericsson Yendo and this device has the latest version of the Walkman software that is used to play music. The phone has a powerful music player that will give the user of the Sony Ericsson Yendo a very good experience.
